I’m continuing to use the 20 days of prompts from Writing: Finding Everyday Inspiration, (a WordPress Blogging U e-course) as jumping off points for my posts. Today’s prompt is to have a virtual cup of tea with you, so here it goes!
If we were having tea right now I would tell you that . . .
. . . My favorite books I’ve read this year are Love 2.0 by Barbara Fredrickson and SuperBetter by Jane McGonigal.
. . . I’ve also been reading a lot of cozy mystery series this year. My favorite is the Maisie Dobbs series by Jacqueline Winspear, and my guilty pleasure is the Hannah Swenson series by Joanne Fluke.
. . . I’m getting a kick out of using silly Snapchat, which I joined after I read that Michelle Obama was on it. Who doesn’t want more ways to follow what Her Awesomeness is doing?
. . . I loved her speech, her husband’s speech, and Cory Booker’s speech at the DNC.
. . . I recorded a video interview yesterday about “Sustaining Social Change Successfully” for the Nonprofit CRM Summit. The Summit will be live online August 1 – 12. You can watch each day’s sessions within 48 hours for free.
. . . I’m loving loving loving Season 3 of The Great British Baking Show, and enjoyed all of the 80’s nostalgia in Netflix’s Stranger Things.
If we were having tea today what would you tell me?
Isn’t Snapchat fun? Especially those filters! I’ll be adding you as well as Her Awesomeness! It was nice having tea with you today, Britt!
It’s so fun! Looking forward to seeing your snaps!
