I’ve never found a chair that facilitates my writing. It’s one of the reasons I don’t like to work in cafes, offices, or most co-working spaces.
But give me a couch, a chaise lounge, or a day bed where I can stretch out my legs and boom: the words start to flow. A couch like this would be my dream workspace:
It also helps if I have a 90-minute “Work Mix” on that I’ve been playing for years.

What kind of space and atmosphere do you need to write and create?
Love the thought of the cat sitting nearby, purring away!
For me, the writing space could be at a desk in the kitchen or study, or at the dining room table, but without the music as a back drop.
Some time ago, I was writing happily in a cramped motorhome, on a tiny table, with the door open so I could hear the waves and see the sky …
That sounds lovely! I think being able to see nature as you write is always inspiring.
